Miss Havisham; Face Charts

From all the research that I've done, Miss Havisham should have been in her late 30s when Pip his saw her. He described her as a living corpse, lifeless and a very strange looking woman. I won't get into the whole description as I feel I covered that in the 'Miss Havisham -Character Analysis' post, and I would just be repeating my self all over again.

As I am experimentig with the two ideas, I decided to take some face charts in which I have already created a young Miss Havisham look and by add wrinkles, under eye circles and even burns I created an older version. I feel like the transformation looks more realistic if it is done on the same drawing. Also, I could not help but imagine what would she look like after the fire, so I included burns in a few face charts, too.

I used Kryolan's Viva Brilliant Color Medley Matt Sun to create most of the flooks as I found this product best to use on paper. If I were to create them on a model I'd use the Supracolor palette and mix the colours to get the exact shades.

I always use hairspray on my face charts to prevent the products from smudging as I mostly use powders. After doing the same thing on the ones with burns I noticed that they look better because of the slight shine that the hairspray adds to the burns.
