Even though I went there in the daytime (4pm), it was starting to get darker when I got to the graveyard in Sutton. I couldn't stay there for more than 5 minutes and left (ran) after taking two photographs. Also, the first image, with the cat, is actually taken in my friends back garden.

I think the key gothic motifs in these images are mostly cold, darkness, ghostlines and decay. I'd say that demimonde is also one of them, as there is a thin line between the living and the dead; death being the biggest motif in these images. That whole day was quite gloomy and foggy and even though it is not really showing in the images, it all seemed very mysterious.
